We are currently seeking a Vice President of Credit Card Marketing to drive the marketing strategy for the Credit Card Division of a Multi-Billion Dollar financial services operation.

Responsible for developing credit card products marketing strategies and to acquire, grow and retain clients, focusing on primary relationships. Integrate a financial ROI assessment into each program. Develop specific value propositions for each type of product, leveraging competitive knowledge, competitive positioning, pricing. Responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing all marketing communications streams related to deposit products, including activation programs, on boarding programs, client engagement programs. Responsible for coordinating the execution of all regulatory mandated initiatives, positioning these as appropriate to various client segments. Product team initiatives are considered in development of structured marketing plans that link with the enterprise financials, LOB financials and product organization financial objectives. Build the team that has accountability for creating and implementing an annual pipeline of deposit marketing programs, campaigns, educational programs that support business objectives. Responsible for managing the overall deposits budget, Responsibilities and Primary Activities Develop structured credit card products marketing plans focused on acquisition, growth and retention and that link with the enterprise financials, LOB financials and product organizations financial objectives. Ensure that programs developed are financially solid, meets CPA (cost per acquisition) and CPR (cost per retained client) targets and that each one supports the overall business objective by delivering a specific target in each of the various areas: acquisition, growth and retention. Lead regulatory mandated communications and marketing programs, including implementation of all programs , coordination of all aspects of communications programs, positioning or conversion programs and financial results accountability Provide direction to Brand Team, Internal Communications, on all programs related to credit cards – analytical work, message and creative work, positioning, communication to field and channel partners. Work with Product Managers to provide value added insights in the area of competitive positioning, customer insights and VOC, competitive messaging. Become a value added partner to Product and Channel teams Build a new team of experienced professionals who can operationalize new approach to the business. Requirements: MBA Strong analytical skills, planning skills, coaching and skill building. Former product/segment management experience required. 10 to 15 years demonstrated work experience with expert knowledge in banking, specifically in the area of deposits. Must have experience working with credit card accounts. Develop strategy, strategic customer segmentation product positioning and marketing. Successful P&L management. Prior product management experience in banking – specifically credit card product portfolio marketing and strategy. Solid experience developing credit card focused marketing programs, Experience leading, directing, coordinating a functional organization to deliver required elements for credit card marketing programs and planning. Experience in operational management and staff management. |
