6 month contract to immediate hire

1. Develop and implement systems and software derived from either enhancements or new development tasks.

a. Gather and analyze necessary information to arrive at a well thought out business decision and/or systems solution. Develop specifications, solutions, and cost estimate for systems enhancements.

b. Perform system analysis, design and programming for complex projects working with limited direction. Select proper technical tools for project development and implementation.c. Develop systems based on one or more of the following: C#, ASP Sql Server, SSIS, Visual Basic SQL, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Visual Studio .NET, Sharepoint.

d. Manage individual project efforts through coordination of external departments, IS resources and proper project planning.

e. Complete all tasks per requirements and schedule. Provide sufficient warning if schedules or deliverables cannot be met.

f. Maintain and support the internal infrastructure.

2. Work with customers to define business problems and identify alternative solutions. Develop a plan and schedule for handling the business case. Coordinate and manage the overall project from an IS perspective. Work with customers in the development and execution of test plans.

3. Maintain and develop expertise in one or more application system, with a moderate to expert level of understanding of complex application systems development.

4. Identify training requirements for programmer analysts and cross-train with others to provide backup on critical application systems.
