Matrix Systems & Technologies, Inc. is hiring Business Analysts to assist in the preparation and documentation of business cases, business processes, and system requirements [Please send resumes to info msandtinc.com].

The individuals for the Business Analyst positions should be familiar with business analyst methodologies that are consistent with the (Business Analysts Body of Knowledge) BABOK, Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge Guide (PMBOK) and have at least 5 years in an SDLC environment working with two or more of the following:

• Financial Systems
• Budget Systems
• Management Reporting
• Document Management
• Cash Flow Estimating
• Business Process/Workflow Automation
• Human Resource Systems

Duties will include:

• Participating in the Project Preliminary Planning phases.
• Development of business case and concept proposals.
• Produce project feasibility and cost benefit analysis reports to assist the agency's executive management in determining whether a project should proceed.
• Assist Project Managers with requirement identification and definition in Project Planning phase.
• Assist with project scope definition and management plan
• Work effectively with stakeholders and respective Subject Matter Experts (SME’s)
• Facilitate an elicitation session with a large group of stakeholders
• Requirements Management, differentiating between modeling techniques to determine which is appropriate for a project (ie use cases, workflow, swim lanes, context diagrams .)
• Developing and utilizing modeling tools and techniques to communicate with the stakeholders.
• Developing, maintain and present a business, functional and technical requirements documentation.
• Developing, maintaining and presenting test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Developing and maintain defect management.
• Implementing and enforcing change management procedures for requirements documentation.
• Discussing existing business models and the flows of data in the business with those involved.
• Write, review and edit specifications, RFP’s, business processes and provide recommendations related to proposed solution.
• Deliver informative, well-organized presentations.
• Understand the role of the system in the big picture and provide ideas and recommendations regarding the evolution of the system and any project inter-dependencies to consider.
• Architect effective business systems.
• Identify the benefits of a project, potential project team members, project deliverables, and appropriate project performance metrics.
• Identify initial performance measures that will be used to determine whether the project was successful.
