Responsibilities
 
·       Manage KCI compliance with Medicare and Medicaid policies and standards
 
·         Identify and assess areas of public payor reimbursement compliance risk
 
·         Ensure “effective” compliance program for public payor reimbursement compliance matters
 
·         Oversee and monitor implementation of appropriate public payor reimbursement compliance training
 
·         Develop public payor reimbursement compliance policies and procedures
 
·         Assess and ensure proper implementation of complaint management systems for reimbursement matters
 
·         Participate in strategic development of Compliance business function globally
 
·         Manage public payor compliance investigations, working with KCI Legal
 
·         Develop corrective action plans
 
·         Participate in public payor reimbursement audits, together with Billing (Advantage Center)
 
·         Participate in public payor reimbursement compliance committees within Americas Region
 
·         Assist with accreditation process through The Joint Commission
 
·         Primary internal clients will include Billing (Advantage Center) and HE&R
 
·         Coordinate with other business functions: Legal, Marketing, Sales, R&D, Medical, Clinical
 
·         Coordinate with outside legal counsel
 
·         Manage outside public payor reimbursement consultants
 
·         Perform other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications  
 
 

Bachelors degree in Business or related field.

 At least 7 years experience in Public Payor reimbursement management 

Experience with MS Office applications including:  Word, Excel, and OutLook

 
Other Qualifications:
 
 Experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement management
 

Demonstrated organizational skills and legal analysis skills

 

Demonstrated ability to manage heavy workload and work in fast-paced environment

 

Demonstrated flexibility and ability to meet critical deadlines

 

Demonstrated leadership, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
