Duties: Our client is a global company who has been in business for over 50 years; this is a new full time permanent position in a very stable IT group. You will be responsible for applications development and business systems analysis for RedPrairie WMS and will create reports, add System changes, modifications and enhancements as needed. Responsibilities include: systems and applications, technical advising, developing and troubleshooting. You will analyze business requirements, explore alternatives and recommend appropriate, efficient and cost-effective software and systems solutions for Red Prairie WMS; configure and customize any business process using Red Prairie standard functionality; make modifications to Red Prairie standard functionality and behavior using MOCA commands via DDAs and evaluate the impact of these changes on other warehouse processes within the same system or other connected systems. Troubleshoot any functional or technical issues with the Red Prairie system in order to reduce downtime of the system and application; configure and customize Integrator/HUB framework and connections to SAP and other systems using standard or custom DDAs. Troubleshoot via Integrator/HUB issues with data transfer between Red Prairie and SAP as well as any other external systems; configure, customize, modify and support EMS alert processing functionality. Design, develop and support Web Visibility Information System that provides real-time warehouse operation information along with necessary reports; design and develop authorizations and security profiles, and troubleshoot any issues with authorizations in the Red Prairie system; analyze and evaluate database growth and perform data archiving; test and apply necessary Patches for the Red Prairie system

Ideal Background: 3-5 years RedPrairie development, analysis, integration and systems administration. Requires in-depth knowledge of functional configuration of RedPrairie core components and expertise in MOCA scripting and administration, System Monitoring, Security and Authorization administration, Integrator Transaction Explorer based interfaces to host SAP system, application performance analysis and tuning, and any type of DDA Development. Functional understanding of WMS and preferably SAP or Oracle ERP integration expertise. Experience with new RedPrairie implementations with WMS 2009 version 1 or 2 preferred. Label development background preferred with NiceLabel and MOCA commands. Strong understanding of warehouse based functions, operations and goals required.
