Job Responsibilities:
The Operations Excellence Manager serves the Vice President - Operations by reporting on the Companys operational excellence efforts and providing guidance on operational excellence matters. The Operations Excellence Manager, together with the Vice President - Operations, is authorized to implement all necessary actions to create an effective operational excellence program. Representatives from other departments and each of the Companys drilling units, as identified by the Operations Excellence Manager from time to time, may assist the Operations Excellence Manager in the implementation and administration of the operational excellence program. Essential Functions1. Design and Implementationa. Review the Companys existing policies and procedures to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk. b. Develop, initiate, maintain and revise policies and procedures designed to avoid or minimize the risks identified. c. Work with the Safety, Health, Environment and Security department to develop and periodically review and update the Companys Safety Management System to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to management and employees.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent. 2. Previous experience of 15 years working in oil and gas drilling operations. 3. Extensive understanding of operations contract requirements. 4. A history of demonstrated employee development and ability to mentor less experienced employees. 5. Must have proficient computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and other programs as may be utilized by Atwood Oceanics.
