Key accountabilities:
Progressive experience in predictive analytics and data mining (5 years) in at least one of the following areas:
·        Linear Models
·        Nonlinear Models
·        LTV
·        Decision Trees
·        Conjoint Analysis
·        Neural Networks
·        Survival Analysis
Essential Responsibilities
·        Application of statistical modeling techniques to various business needs (marketing, products, service, financial)
·        Responsible for developing, updating and maintaining predictive models to enable the organization to meet its business objectives.
·        Develop performance benchmarks to be used by the business
·        Assessing model quality
·        Conduct analysis of available data sources to identify attributes valuable for modeling purposes
·         Define and implement processes to overcome data availability limitations and quality issues
·         Prove the quality of selected algorithms by building production-grade models against multiple data sets
·         Develop methods to automate the entire modeling process, including model training, deployment, ongoing monitoring and adaptive learning
·         Guide development team in the productionalization of algorithms
·        Ad hoc analyses
·         Identifying opportunities to apply statistics to improve business performance
·        Ability to partner or collaborate with individuals and teams.  
·        Present results of quantitative analysis and modeling to a variety of non-technical audiences
·        Support business development by working directly with the sales teams articulating and advocating the selected modeling methods to customers and prospects
 
Education:
·        A Master's Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Operations Research, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field of study.  PhD in Statistics is preferred.
Working Knowledge in at least one area:
·        SAS Forecast Server
·        SAS programming language
·        SAS Enterprise Miner
·        SAS Enterprise Guide
·        JMP® statistical software
·        Experience with relational databases
·        SQL
·        Microsoft Office
 
 
Demonstration of experience required through sample work submissions
